THE CHALLENGE
Nu-England’s previous web presence was not keeping up with their capabilities or their market.
They offer a wide range of services—home cleaning, commercial janitorial, specialty cleaning, post-construction clean-up, floor sales and installation, water and fire damage restoration, and more—across Central Massachusetts and beyond. But their website did not fully reflect that depth or make it easy for potential customers to understand what they do, where they work, or how to get started.
In practical terms, that meant:
- Service offerings were not clearly organized by residential vs. commercial, or by core vs. specialty services.
- The site was not built around conversion paths that capture high-intent visitors (quotes, consultations, emergency calls).
- There was no sustained content or SEO strategy to build visibility across Massachusetts for specific cleaning and restoration needs.
For a company with over 50 years in business, that is a lost opportunity. Every missed organic search impression or unoptimized service page is a potential job that goes to a competitor instead.
THE MISSION
Build a modern, SEO-ready website that:
- Clearly showcases Nu-England’s full range of residential, commercial, and specialty services.
- Makes it easy for visitors to request quotes, schedule services, or get in touch—especially for time-sensitive work like water or fire damage.
- Creates a strong foundation for ongoing SEO, blogging, and geo-targeted landing pages to attract the right leads from the right locations.
This was not just a redesign project. It was a repositioning of Nu-England’s digital presence to match their real-world reputation and growth goals.
POWERS DEPLOYED
For Nu-England, we combined The Architect (web design) with The Oracle (SEO and content) to turn their website into a lead-generation engine rather than a static brochure.
On the website side, we:
- Designed and developed a new WordPress site that’s clean, professional, and aligned with a trusted, long-standing service brand.
- Organized services into clear, user-friendly categories—residential cleaning, commercial cleaning, special cleaning services, flooring, and restoration—each with dedicated pages explaining benefits, processes, and FAQs.
- Built focused service pages for key offerings like home cleaning, commercial cleaning, post-construction cleaning, and specialty services so visitors can quickly see exactly what Nu-England does and why it matters.
- Implemented prominent contact and quote pathways, including contact details, emergency restoration numbers, and web forms that make it easy to request service.
- Ensured the site is mobile-friendly so customers can find and contact Nu-England easily from any device.
- Use AI to scale content production and local visibility—rapidly generating geo-targeted landing pages tailored to specific cities and service areas across Massachusetts, then human-edited for accuracy and brand voice before publishing.
- Apply AI-assisted analysis to local SEO oversight—surfacing ranking shifts, review patterns, and Google Business Profile signals so the strategy adapts faster than a manual workflow would allow.
- Manage their Google Business Profile end-to-end—posting updates, photos, and videos, and answering FAQs to keep the listing active and informative.
- Run a review management program that nudges happy customers to leave 5-star Google reviews (and helps respond professionally to every review that comes in).
- Track local geo-grid rankings across Google Maps so we can see exactly where Nu-England ranks neighborhood-by-neighborhood—and tune the strategy based on real local visibility data.
On the SEO and content side, we implemented core technical and on-page SEO best practices across the site (metadata, headings, internal linking, URL structure, schema where appropriate, and crawl-friendly architecture), launched an ongoing blog focused on cleaning tips, service education, and use-case content that supports both residential and commercial audiences across Massachusetts, and began creating AI-assisted geo-targeted landing pages to help Nu-England show up for high-intent local searches across specific service areas. We also manage Nu-England’s local SEO end-to-end—overseeing their Google Business Profile, posting regular updates and videos, answering FAQs, and running a review management program to help them earn more 5-star Google reviews. To prove progress, we track their local geo-grid rankings across Google Maps so we can see exactly where Nu-England ranks in every neighborhood they serve, and adjust as needed. The result is a site and local presence that not only look more modern and trustworthy, but are structurally designed to attract and convert local search traffic.

Within the first three months of the new website launching:
For a regional cleaning and restoration company, that combination—more qualified visitors, more leads, and a high close rate—translates directly into new recurring cleaning contracts, one-off specialty work, and higher utilization of their team. And this is only the beginning. The ongoing SEO, blogging, and steadily expanding network of geo-targeted landing pages are designed to compound over time, pushing Nu-England further up the results for service- and location-specific searches across Massachusetts.
